The Archduchy of Mimas
is a micronation which lay claim on the moon Mimas, also called ”Saturn 1”, which is a satellite of Saturn. The nation also consist of several minor territorial claims on Earth. The main terrestrial claim is located in Southern Sweden.
The Archduchy was resurrected after 5 years of inactivity on the 30th of April 2015.
Mimas is a constitutional monarchy. The citizens of Mimas partake in free and equal elections which are held at the calling of the Archduke, the Prime Minister or the Royal Marshal. Governmental posts can however be given after close examination to any full citizen of Mimas.
The Archduchy has a traditional branch of nobility, which all citizen might obtain.
