A message from HRH the Archduke on the current COVID-19 situation.
The Mimasian Report
With the new year we are launching a new way of communication – the Mimasian Report. A small monthly report on what’s going on inside (and outside) of our beautiful nation. It will be sent out to all citizens and ambassadors. Others will find it here on our site!
Here is the first issue, happy reading!
Embassy in Russia
The Archduchy of Mimas has opened it’s first embassy in Russia.
His Lordship Maratow of Equester was appointed ambassador in February by the Royal Parliament.
The embassy is located in Kazan and will have it’s main presence online. With a presence in Russia it is our hope that we can aid Mimasians and Russians alike in their native tounge.
We present Baron Maratov of Equester
The Marshal of the Realm
has the honor to present the Right Honourable Baron of Equester.
After a process in the Privy Council Mr. Maratov was granted the Barony of Equester, situated in Kazan. This is the first territory outside the macronation of Sweden.
”His Lordship Equester is a probable candidate for the ambassadorship of Russia.” – MP Frerona
We welcome His Lordship to the Mimasian Nobility and therefore also to the Royal Parliament.
Diplomatic Relations with the Principality of NorAuthwik
The Royal Governments last act in 2017 was to
open diplomatic relations with the Principality of NorAuthwik and their head of state Nathaniel von Hanover-Lausenburg. NorAuthwik share Mimas’ devotion to Human Rights and equal rights.
In honor of this event and as a gift, His Royal Highness Christoph II was created Duke of Normtuas in the Principality of NorAuthwik. This gracious gift was received with much joy at the Malmö Headquarters and His Royal Highness granted the Mimasian Duchy of Monte Malum to the co-regents of NorAuthwik.
”It is with great joy that we now declare that Mimas has finally established official relations with the Principality of NorAuthwik and it is Our deepest hope that our two nations will prosper together.” – HRH Archduke Christoph II

Royal visit – Budapest
The Royal Visit to Budapest in June
HRH Archduke Christoph II, Her Excellency Minister-President Frerona and Most Honorable Lord Chamberlain Andersson visited Budapest in June. The visit was focused on Central European history and culture.
Over the Archduke’s birthday the Royal Government gave His Royal Highness a trip to Budapest as a birthday gift: ”His Royal Highness, with a degree in History and Education, is especially interested in countries with a less famous history than the major western macronations. Therefore a visit to Budapest and its fascinating culture and history was an obvious gift.” – MP Frerona
The Royal Parliament has today begun its summer vacation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is still open. Only parliamentary functions are suspended until August 8.
Statement regarding the US presidential election
To all a good morning,
I received the information about the outcome in the presidential election in the United States of America early this morning. As you might have known my government, parliament and I were not in favor of Mr. Trump’s candidacy. It grieves me that the global community once again receives a devastating blow. The year of 2016 has truly been a dark year, full of repeating history and irrational choices.
Now is the time for firm leadership built on humanity and compassion. We hope and pray for the president elect to now change his former radical and populist statements that has put the world on edge. It is not for nothing that the stock markets around the globe are plummeting, that leaders say they are ”concerned” and that nations actually fears the seemingly arbitrary elected leader of the United States of America.
Fear WILL NOT rule our world, and I will on behalf of the Mimasian people continue the strive for a better tomorrow – even at days when the future seems dark and lost.
His Royal Highness
Archduke Christoph II
